Maria D. Gonzalez is a self-taught illustrator and artist in central Oregon who began drawing and expressing her exceptional talent as a young child. Being highly creative and having a vivid imagination, Maria's drawings always utilized bright colors, minute detail and showed her passion for animals. She catches the individual personalities of all her 'critters' in pen and ink, with whimsical expressions and heart-warming, often human antics. As you view Maria's unique 'smile-art', her extraordinary sense of humor will carry you into her fantasy world to explore the wonderful world of animals and hopefully bring a smile to YOUR face too!
We have recently started to reproduce Maria's original illustrations which are available to purchase presently as note cards as well as signed and copyrighted prints. We plan in the near future to also offer puzzles and she is working on a wonderful, humerous child's storybook which will be filled with her illustrations as well as having a good moral and a happy ending to the story.
